High School Regional Meets

Thanks to everyone who has helped me gather results. Most regions ignored my request for results, but fortunately there were other sources.

The reason why official results are so important is because those might contain confirmation of the kind of timing used and wind readings (if available). These are required for correct inclusion on official state and national lists. Without official results, people around the world assume it's just another big Texas wind aiding runners or Texas coaches lying about times again by reporting hand times as if they were  FAT times -- something that sadly goes on an awful lot. Even worse, sometimes coaches are mislead by meet officials into thinking FAT timing is used when actually hand times are used.

Monday afternoon note: I've gotten quite a few emails regarding some results that are not, in fact, complete. Since I was trying to get everything posted as fast as I could Saturday night and early Sunday morning before flying to a conference in Colorado, I wasn't able to closely check those results that were sent from newspapers (and those folks who were kind enough to type up results from out of newspapers.) The regions in which the meet directors sent results directly to me should be complete, but apparently a few events are left off other regional results. Please keep letting me know events left off and I'll try to obtain those, but please be patient and remember that this website is not my real job!  :-) Thank you.
