Conditions were pretty bad with off and on steady rain throughout the day, but the competition was just as great as ever. Glenn Roberts and Traci Neely and everyone at McNeil High School put on a great meet every year and 2004 was no exception. Most people have no idea how much hard work goes into hosting the state's premier invitational.

A&M Consolidated's Jocelyn Gardner thrust herself into the picture as a serious contender this season by holding off a fast finishing Christina Henderson (Coppell) to win the Gold race. |
Plano's Scott MacPherson continued one of the most dominating seasons in years by simply running away from the Gold Division field to a 25-second win. |
